On the wings of an eagle . . .

Like almost any other caique, Mavis a/k/a "Goldie" thinks she's 6'5" and bullet-proof. It's perfectly natural, therefore, for her to think she can commandeer an eagle. Luckily, of course, he's of the bronze variety. If you have a caique and any other birds, especially if they're larger, be sure to supervise their play carefully. Caiques know almost no limits and don't seem to realize how easily they could become injured by a larger bird who just might not be in the mood for their antics.
